Hi Everyone,
I am a teacher and am moving to Palm Beach County in August for a teaching job. I am a young, single professional and was wondering if anyone knows what places around the county are good for young, single people to live? I am looking to live in a place with other young people that is also safe.
Thanks!

It will be helpful to know...What size and type of housing are you looking for? How much do you want to pay? Where in Palm Beach County will you be working?

My school is in Riviera Beach which I have read is not a good area so I am hoping to find a 1 bedroom apartment or condo in the palm beach gardens/jupiter area or west palm beach in the safer areas.

Try looking at apartment / condo communities in the Villages of Palm Beach Lakes. Zip Code 33409 west of I-95 and north of Okeechobee Blvd.

Depends where in Riviera Beach the school is, I think the schools are located in the safer spots but I am not sure?

I would look at Palm Beach Gardens, around Northlake Blvd, probably most of the places in PB Gardens will be expensive but a 1 bedroom might be possible at $1K/month, I am thinking for around $1200K/month on average.

Anything off of PGA might be higher, rental market is hot and demand is high so prices are up.
