I'm looking for a 3-4 month lease in the West Palm area. I found a site called shortermrentals.com that has a few properties that meet my criteria. I'm looking at a condo in Milano and one in Elan in the City (both in West Palm). The one in Milano is cheaper (by $400 a month). Does anyone have any knowledge on these places? We're moving to the area from out of state and need a place to live while we look for a house to buy. I don't really care about being close to nightlife (have a young child), but I don't want to be in a sketchy area.

Elan in the City is right on the edge of downtown, so if you don't care about proximity to nightlife, etc., then go with Milano. Milano is in the Villages section of West Palm. Haven't heard any bad reviews re safety of that complex.
