Hello,

We are relocating to the East Coast(Boca, Jupiter, Parkland, etc) not sure exactly where yet depends on house we find. We prefer new or newer construction housing(no more than 10 years old). We liked Jupiter and found a great house in Rialto neighborhood but negotiations on house didn't work out. We have now opened up search area to Boca and Parkland. Need good high school for my kids so has to be in great school district. Budget 700k max. Any ideas of "newer" neighborhoods we may like? Thank you!

Parkland has a high rated high school and new homes a few different communities that would give you homes similar to Rialto.
Boca might be tough to find new homes in that price range.
West Boynton might work as well.

Thank you for the response! I think we've ruled Boynton out...schools not as high rated.

I agree; Boca is all built out. Lots of new construction in Parkland. Better odds of finding something there. Prices probably similar to Jupiter.

What's the resale value in Parkland verses Jupiter? Is one area more desirable?

Which one has a better beach? (J)
Which one isn't in the Everglades (J)?
Which one isn't urban sprawl? (J)

Jupiter and Parkland are both nice. I think Parkland is a bit more family oriented with great schools. Jupiter is for the most part closer to the water if that matters. Does work commute matter? They are fairly far apart so that might be a factor.

I'd prefer to live in Jupiter, but you'd probably have more newer construction options in Parkland.
