Hi,

I will be relocating to Palm Beach County for work in January 2018. I currently live in a small New England Town. Are their any cities or towns in Palm Beach County that have smaller town setting? Even if the vibe of the town is blue-collar.

Thanks.

i would say jupiter has the most small town feel with less crowds but it is nothing like a new england town (i grew up in a beach town not far from cape cod). i live in delray which has more of a historic town feel but it has gotten really crowded and expensive. sadly, i just dont think anything in southeast florida is small town’ish.

What area will you be working in? Tequesta has a small town feel its north pbc/Martin County.
Jupiter is still fairly small.
Downtown Delray is nice but pricey.

Thanks. Jupiter looks interesting. It looks like you get a little bit of land if you buy home. I was looking at Delray but the expensive side of that town discourages me to move there. I like a town that has some culture.

Jupiter farms gets you land but most communities are the typical quarter acre or less.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and small town feel, South Florida ain't it. Maybe Okeechobee its the bill somewhat but too far to commute. SoFla is like a little New Yawk pace wise.

Lake Worth is for you!

Juno also is right below Jupiter. I have drove over 80,000 miles all over south florida in 2 years for my job. I think the closest you can find is Royal Palm Beach. Nothing similar though.
