I remember when there used to be a lot more homeless people in PBC... (Boca Raton: 2015)

Does anyone else remember back in the early 2000s the sheer amount of homeless people in PBC? I do.... I remember driving around Boca and seeing homeless people at most major intersections and on the on/off ramps of I-95... I remember thinking how ironic it was that in affluent Boca Raton, there were a lot of homeless people kind of just meandering around..... Then in about 2014 or so ..POOF.... never see them anymore.

I remember having to roll up my window at most stop lights in Boca and Delray to avoid being accosted by them. I'm not trying to sound insensitive or rude, but liiiiike.... where did they all go? How was this issue solved or? I don't know...how do they just up and leave? I don't miss them, I was just laying in bed last night and randomly remembered that and wondering what happened.

Around 2015 they started enforcing the law against pan handling.

I remember reading about the death of one that was always on the Palmetto Park exit ramp.
Turned out she’d made quite a lot of money begging, and lived in a nice condo near the beach.

I’ve also seen first hand “homeless” pan handlers in PBC where I saw them with their signs begging for money one day, and a few days later wearing designer clothes, handbag/shoes and all...enjoying an evening out.
