Another commute question for you guys: if all else failed and worst case scenario was realized, what is the commute from West Boca to Miami? Parkland to Miami?

Ughhh, your still off with the locations .

That could run you 2+ hours, maybe even more with accidents.

If you want equestrian closer to Miami, look into Davie or SW Ranches. There are even parts of Miramar that still have stables. There is also Weston, the Chapel Trail area in Pembroke Pines and Cooper City but may not have the lifestyle you are looking for. Weston is one of those ultra planned communities, some think it's utopia, others thing it's mind numbingly bland. Cooper City feels almost like a typical Midwestern suburb. Chapel Trail is nice in the generic South Florida sort of way. That would condense your commute down to...1 hour...possibly an hour and a half...

I liked your advice and we will probably go with West Boca or Parkland; unfortunately for you guys this is preliminary research so I apologize for being all over the map (literally). You have given me some great food for thought though!

Yeah, I forgot about factoring in that commute to WPB...

And for you, if you work in Miami, there's always the tri rail! It's struggling to get state funding but the new management company is really trying to fix it up.

No problem about the change in direction. It's slow right now so at the moment I have nothing better to do! Then I'm outta here at the end of the night, so if you have any last minute questions...
