What would a starter house go for in a decent area in Lake Worth or surrounding area.

I'd say you can find a decent starter in the 150-200 range in a decent area of West Palm Beach (South of Southern or Vedado area, for example). Southeastern West Palm borders Northeastern Lake Worth, which is one of the more desirable areas of Lake Worth.

Try 33405, and look at properties that have an address starting with a "1, 2, or 3"... Some properties with a "4" may be OK, but this will typically be South of Forest Hill Blvd. If you give a specific street, I can tell you whether it's a good area or not.

As for Lake Worth/College Park, 33460 is the zip where College Park is.... but it also encompasses areas that are NOT College Park.

Thank you. He has been looking in the 33405 as that is where he is living but he is going FHA and seems most need more work that FHA would approve. I told him to be patient and he will find it.

Max is $175,000. He would like to spend less but seems like those homes are still up there and most don't have A/C. He has seen a few in 33405 that may be possibilities but still looking.

Ok, I know of one good possibility that is actually a really good deal IMO.... Right now, some friends are making a bid on it, but if that doesn't pan out I will send the info on to you.
