Ladies,

do you know of any spots where you can get your eye brows threaded, by the Indian ladies?

Yesterday, I went to Nina's (A Dominican Salon). What a great experience. I have natural hair that has not had a relaxer since 1998. They did an awesome job!

When you went to Nina's, did they speak English? I have natural hair as well and would like to go to the shop but I do not speak Dominican. Who did your hair Norwoody? Was it quick and inexpensive?

They spoke some English but mostly conversed amongst themselves in Spanish. Nina did my hair (she is the owner of the salon). I have been there twice. The first time, I was seen immediately. I waited almost two hours the second visit. The charge both times was 35.00, which included a trim.

Hello ladies! I just moved back to South FL after being in Texas (blah!) for the last 3 years. Lets just say, while I was there I mostly did my own hair and waited until I came home (WPB) on visits to get a really "good" relaxer, treatment, etc. No offense to Tejanos, but my salon experiences weren't the greatest. I've only been back about a few weeks and not planning to get my hair done until next weekend. I'll give you all the details then. Until then, besos!!
