Are there restrictions? Are there certain areas like in California? Just curious as I have a dog and would love to take him to the ebach if we decide to go back to Fla. Thanks

In Palm Beach County, the only beach that I know of that allows dogs is a section of the beach in Jupiter. It's approx. 2 1/2 miles of beach north of the pier. Friends of Jupiter Beach maintain the area and have supplied numerous stations with bags and cans for cleanup.

My husband and I took our dogs once and they had a blast. Not only were they running on the beach, they were running in and out of the water. We'd like to take them again, but the gas prices are a bit prohibitive--we live in Boca and it's not a short trip.

Two sites for the same question? is this a joke? Please leave your dogs home especially when the
weather is very hot in FLorida..right now we are experiencing a cooler winter but it will soon be warm
again. no place for dogs in the hot sun. I think it's cruel to bring a dog to the beach especially in
florida..just my opinion....

Thanks for the BARK link. Going there now to sign it. Nothing more life inspiring than seeing dogs running on the beach.
