Of course that is my personal opinion, I know lot of people prefer Boca over any part of Broward.

Why do I seriously believe that people feel compelled to streotype Boca in that respect all the time. Sorry, just dont buy it.

I agree. there is no doubt there is a sh^tload of money in Boca. but that does not automaticaly make it stuck up and snobby. Just because it has upscale stores does not mean all the people that shop there are snobs.
they have some money and want to enjoy it.
It is just a stereotype.

The schools in NW Broward are good along with Boca Raton. A few years ago when my cousin was looking at Parkland the High school was over crowed and they had a lot of portable class room buildings that you could see from the Sawgrass Expy. Below are links to the two school districts for more information.
Broward County Public Schools The School District of Palm Beach County
I guess like you said the schools are the most important for your family would be to check out the possible schools for your children and probably what is close to your place of employment.
To me it seams everthing west of the Tpk in Boynton is fairly new. Boca Raton and Coral Springs seem more established.

West Boynton out of all of them but if you are coming from up north I would suggest Boca or Broward county

We recently bought a house in West Boca and are happy with our choice. We seriously considered Boca, Parkland, and Weston. We got more house and land for our money in West Boca. Snobbish people are in every town--and I really haven't found more here than anywhere else. Good luck in your search.
