I used to go, then I kind of lost interest. The line-up is nothing special, May is a bad month to have a thing like Sunset in SoFla because it's very hot already, and paying $5 for a cheap watered Budweiser in a plastic glass somehow doesn't excite me anymore. Overrated.

the line-up for this past year was awesome! when i saw it i was so bummed i didn't know about it before now. although i listen to a lot of indie rock music and i saw a lot of bands on there that people may not have heard of if they don't like that sort of music!

I went the year prior for a couple of concerts. I didn't go last year, but the vibe downtown during Sunfest is always fun.

Totally agree with you.I stopped going to Sunfest years ago when the prices started skyrocketing. It used to be $12 a day to go!
You're right about the heat in May.

Irish, I never got used to the SoFla heat so I tend to favour those outdoor manifestations during "winter". Artigras is one of my favorite, although I have been so many times I almost know the artists...but it's in february and you can get lucky and hit the nice 70 degrees day (and then take off at lunch and go right behind to Costello's and eat "al fresco".

I still go to Fair just because the wife wants to (I do like walking around Yesteryear in a cool January afternoon - ).

It use to be good years ago, but most of the art is gone and the music is spotty at best. Not too mention it's too expensive, $5 beers and lousy food.
