Default Anyone go to Sunfest?

I come down to WPB every year for SunFest. I came down this year and the line up was so weak we didn't even go one night! Did you go? See anyone good? Did it seem much less crowded than usual?

I think they charge WAAAAY too much money for what they offer.

Bad economy, bad lineup and the dreaded Swine flu kept many people away.

I didn't go this year because I was unimpressed with the lineup.

I also agree that the ticket cost way too much --- especially considering you then have to pay $10 for an arepa!

When it started out, it was a blues and jazz fest, and it was great.

I totally agree. I remember the old days. Fatburger, Bella Fleck, Spyra Gyro, Acoustic Alchemy. People would come from all over the world to Palm Beach for the event.

Last year I went to New Orleans on the same weekend for Jazzfest. Now that's a true music festival !

I couldn't picture myself attending Sunfest for free.

What for? It's a total ripoff. It should be $5 or free.

i had free tickets given to me and still didn't go. The parking, costs, and boring line-up is less than attractive, even when it is free.

We wanted to go but the $31 price tag for tickets kept us away. After moving down from Milwaukee, and going to Summerfest, which is about four times the size and only costs $15 to get in. We were pretty disappointed in the cost.
We ended up seeing Collective soul or maybe it was candlebox (one of the 90's bands) from Fire Rock Pizza and it sounded horrible. Glad we didn't buy tickets...
