No, I think the OP is saying that there is culture in PBC, you just have to find it.

I think she meant CITY of West Palm Beach, though I could be mistaken.
The ACTUAL city of West Palm Beach only has something like just over 100k people.

Well, she said the "entire COUNTY" (and even put county in all upper case letters as seen there) and the way she worded it is by saying that the entire city of Philly is massive compared to the entire county here which is small by comparison (regardless of the facts). So I'm just gonna say she meant that based on the words she used and how she compared and worded it it.

Well, I just know that runswithscissors' son used to live in downtown WPB, and she has or had family in Tequesta, so I think it would be obvious to anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of the county that there is more than 100k people here!

Culture in PBC is very, very relative. Tri submitted a long list of "attractions" but it depends on where you come from, what you are used to.
Go to the Norton Museum or the Museum of Science in WPB or Miami and if you come from the North-east USA or Europe you will likely be very disappointed. Opera, ballets, same thing. You have a little of that, mostly the same shows year after year, but if you come from a "cultural area" you will be struggling.
Each place has goods and bads. Let's face it: SoFla strengths do not include culture. You don't come to WPB or Miami for the culture, most of people do it for the weather and because they can buy a nice 3/2 house where in the North-eastern cities they will get a 1/1 condo.
