Default West Palm Beach Vs. Delray Beach

Hello,We are a early 30's couple with a 1yr old and 1 on the way. We are looking for a vacation home to use 5-6 times a year. We have been to WPB and Delray beach only 1 time. Not too familiar with the area. We are looking for a kid friendly, low crime area, close to the beach/attractions and nightlife (when kids are not around). VERY UNDECIDED....HELP!!

To be honest, anything west of I-95 in Delray Beach is not particularly interesting or noteworthy.

Well those of us who live West of I-95 are here, LOL and we love it, east or west, Delray is a great town. C'mon down, something for everyone. Don't know much about the schools but Atlantic High School has a decent rating, and Heritage (a private school) does too. I understand the Morikami elementary school is pretty good.....Good Luck.

To be honest I don't know what's the big deal about Delray. It has a nice stretch of restaurants/stores along Atlantic Ave, as long as you are east. Other than that, the rest is similar to many other SoFla areas, gated communities, plazas for shopping.

Tonights Jazz on the Ave everyone. Bars, restaurants, clubs and don't forget those hangouts and dives off Atlantic Ave like the Sail Inn Tavern and the Back Room which is now located south of Linton on Dixie, some of the best Blues in Florida.

Did someone say big-deal!
