Default Good place to board a dog?

I am planning to go out of town next month and will have to board my dog and cat. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a good, reliable place for me to do that. I live in Boynton Beach so I would want something relatively close (Boca would not be too far). I really am looking for a place that doesn't just cage the animals, but has dog runs, takes them outside to play, gives them treats, etc. You get the idea - I want them pampered! My cat (who is just 1 year old) has never been boarded and my dog (who is almost 7 years old) hasn't been boarded in more than 5 years and that was in another state. They are both spoiled, needless to say, and are used to lots of attention. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot.

Does no one know of a good place to board your dog or a good pet sitter? I find this hard to believe. Especially in
Boca.

Well I don't have pets but have you looked on craigslist? I have seen listings for this service though of course you have to be careful letting someone in your home. I am thinking some may be insured. Do you have a family or friend that could? I know my moms dog is her baby and I take care of it when she goes and I don't mind. Not sure though if you have family near. I remember seeing something and I just found it again on the web called camp canine it looks cute and they also allow cats though it looks expensive. Again I don't have experience with it but you may want to look.

Smile Dog care

Tina's Doggie Day Care 561-362-4117 - Delray Beach

Also, I know a lady by the name of Mary (forget her last name) and I'll find the number.

Both excellent - I have Shelties, both pampered but worth it. They're my babies.

I always take mine to South Florida - Pompano - Fort Lauderdale Dog & Cat Boarding Kennel

They have a pool and yard where they play with all the other dogs under supervision.

Never had any problems!

Baker Vet Clinic on Congress in Palm Springs is excellent for boarding. They also provide doggy day care.

Most places around here want $30-$40 daily to board your pet. $1000-$1200 a month for a dog that basically takes care of itself? Back in Oregon, where I'm originally from the going rate is $300 monthly.
