I can only tell you my expereince with the schools thus far...Im very impressed with Both, Waters Edge Elem and West Boca High School....My daughter is doing much better than we expected, the teachers are awesome, and my dh and I are very happy with the quality of education both children are receiving. They seem to want the kids to master the skill before going on and having the child lost. they provide additional tutoring if necessary. Ive had really good experiences with Communication with the teachers as they all have responded pretty quickly to my quesitons for concerns and that goes for both my son and my daughter. What in specific are you looking for?
My son is in HS and has great teachers, he is in the Business management Academy, they also have tons of free tutoring available.

Thanks, I go on greatschools.org and etc. but for me , I like hearing a parent say this/that about schools and strengths / weaknesses. I'm looking at public schools for the most part and not sure about Florida, but in NYC, they're all oaver the board. horrible to great. You just get lucky if you're ina decent zone here.

its the same here RV...We are from NY then my kids went to school in NJ not so great to tell u the truth, and Waxhaw NC (charlotte) We absouletely loved and had an great experience as well with both kids once we got our daughter on track..I always read the parent reviews than opposed to the scores...honestly all schools go from horrible to great...and People live in this area of West Boca because of the schools....Schools were our number 1 priority following Community....You really just have to try the best u can with your homework, call the schools your interested in, make a trip to visit them as dh and I did...No matter what people will tell you, your opinion might be different....and remember every child learns differently so that decision for me might be fine for you or it might not be...I just know Waters Edge has the Best Gifted program on this side of Boca following Del Prado...but my daughter isnt in Gifted..lol...

well it depends..if a child is gifted depending on the development here in West Boca they can go to Waters Edge..NON Gifted they would have to attend their home School yes would be the answer in that case....Mission Bay Regatta is gated and is so is Ventura, they go to Sandpiper Elem also very very good elem school, Loggers run Middle but Eagles Run is just as good so no issues in either place...I dont know what the Middle school for Del Prado would be maybe someone else can answer that question..lol and I think the HS is Boca Raton Community...We are actually swimming against them this afternoon

Del Prado kinda rides the line between West Boca and City of Boca. It's technically considered to be outside the city limits, but Boca has some strange boundaries. When it comes to having cheaper access to City of Boca ammenities (Beach Pass, Mizner Bark, etc.), if you live east of the Turnpike you qualify.

The middle school can vary. It can be either Omni, Eagles Landing or Loggers Run...or if you get in via lottery, Don Estridge. The high school can be Boca Community, Olympic Heights or in some very strange cases, Spanish River. Some of the school boundaries make absolutely no sense to me.
Then if you're in the gifted program anything goes!
