Just moved to Boca Raton need some help
Hola,
I just moved to Boca Raton, I am looking for good seafood markets ( not restaurants) any idea where I can get a fresh seafood similar to casablanca in Miami.
Any other cheap and good stuff which you know of and is helpful for a newbie in BocaRaton please pitch in.
Thanks a lot lot.

I don't know of only seafood grocery but I have gotten good fish at Publix or Albertsons. There is also a whole foods off glades in Boca that is huge. In delray there is a farmers market called the Boys. I know it is favorite among many and I am thinking they have seafood. I am somewhat new too but am in Boca so any other things I can offer feel free.

I don't know of any seafood market per se, but Albertson's has by far the best deals on fish, though The Boys may have greater variety for a price.
Basically you have to shop in different places for different items (fish, dry goods, fruits & vegetables) to get the best prices, and none of these are in Boca, you have to go to Delray Beach or Coconut Creek.

In terms of price, in Delray Beach, Berry's Farm, I believe, at the Carneval (?) Flea Market on Atlantic, west of Military, for fruits and vegetables; also I believe Albertson's on Military Trail and Linton is technically in Delray Beach, for fish.
For dry goods and household items, depending on where you live in Boca, the Super Walmart in Coconut Creek or the one in Boynton Beach may be closer, or basically equidistant. Lately Walmart has been more competitive on produce, buying more from local farms.
The other places mentioned - The Boys, Publix, Whole Foods - may offer more variety and better quality, or may not, but in any case 3-4 times the price.
The choice is yours.
Good Luck!

Oh yes Super Walmart and Super Target. Also there is a Greenwise Publix near Town Center that has more organic. There is also a Fresh Market that is similar to Whole Foods on a smaller scale.
