Default Private Tutoring in the West Palm Beach Area (Jupiter)

Hi there,

I am relocating from Scottsdale, AZ to Jupiter, FL in November and I was wondering if anyone knows how private tutoring jobs would be in that area. My area of expertise is teaching reading, comprehension, phonemic awareness, and mathematics to children ages 5 to 13, but have taught people as old as 45 how to read.

I have been employed by Lindamood-Bell Learning Process for the past five years and I have an excellent rapport with children. For the company I taught special education reading programs to children with learning disabilities. I am a 28 year old, white male, with a degree in psychology from American University.

Does anyone have suggestions as to where to go to find families who would need a tutor for their son or daughter? I am thinking I'll go to private schools and give them my resume and let them know I am available. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

-Paul
