Smile Canyon in Boynton Beach??

Hi. Has anyone heard anything else besides the chinese drywall issues in the new Canyon communities?? I heard that it is where a lot of young people from Boca are moving to due to the low prices. I'm nervous about the school situation. I hear they are building a new school, but not sure that I'm into a new school vs. an already established school. I'm torn between Canyon and Boca.....any advice???

The Isles is the only section I've heard to have had the issue. GL from my understanding has been very good at remedying the situation. Unlike most builders who close up shop and walk away. They are actually going in and having the homes tested for it.
Chinese Drywall is a very unfortunate situation. Obviously if you find a home in there you like you can have it tested, or it should come with a certification from GL. But if you aim for the Lakes or Springs you should be ok.
It's not just Boynton that was affected though, I'm working with someone looking to remedy a home in The Oaks in Boca, where the homes are 1 million+
Journeys End is another great neighborhood of comparable homes a little further North. Both are great neighborhoods and almost every time I've shown a home in either neighborhood the people didn't want to leave, but they paid 150-200k more than what it worth now...
