Cool Home Owners Insurance Jupiter FL

Would it be possible to provide company names of homeowners insurance companies for the area of Jupiter FL. Trying to help a family member that the insurance was increased to $6K. Thank you.

FYI Newbie to this forum. Former south fl gal, 30 yrs in PA and back again. Just bought a home in High Springs, lovely north central town NW of Gainesville. Biggest hurdle was indeed homeowners insurance. Cottage dates to 1900, so not only are companies writing no new policies but on an old home its close to impossible. My awesome realtor helped me track down a company, Insurance Express,888-688-9494. that wrote a policy from Universal Property and casualty Insurance Company. It's a 2,500. deductable, and 2% hurricane deductable. but affordable. Costs 1,100. yearly on a home valued at 126,000. I did have to get a 4 point inspection, cost $150. but satisfied the company to take me one. I spent weeks trying to get anyone to talk to me about insurance. I hope this helps someone. Holler if I can help further.

We are also looking for homeowners insurance for our house in jupiter. Our previous insurance co. was Sunshine State Ins., and they are no longer writing insurance policies in Palm Beach County. Help! Our renewal date is November 1st!

Default Homeowners Insurance

Unfortunatly you will probably end up on Citizens Insurance like so many others. The only bit of advise I can offer you is if you do end up on Citizens and have an appraisal for your property that is less than two years old they HAVE to estimate your insurance based on that appraisal not their made up over inflated estimate of your house. You have to call around sometimes to get an agent that is willing to do the extra paperwork on it because their commission is less if they do that.
Good Luck!

She found insurance (Not Citizens) for $2,700 per year. Mine got cancelled (Navarre Fl) and my high quote was $2,581.00 and my broker found another company for $1,500.00 per year.
