Am interested in relocating to Flamingo Park. I know it is a historic district. Does anyone have any pics of the area or of some historic homes? Are the homes there $$$$?

The homes in Flamingo Park range in price from about 100k to approaching 1 million, depending on size, block, and renovation status.

Here's a good website that will show you some of the homes available for sale right now in Flamingo Park:

I live here and would be happy to give you info on homes and listings in Flamingo Park and the surrounding historic areas, including:

Grandview Heights, Southland Park, El Cid, Central Park/Monceaux, Mango Promenade.

Hint: Type in the neighborhood names listed above at the PalmBeachPost website provided to get a feel for the neighborhood and houses.

I live in Flamingo Park and we are a great neighborhood. We have a Facebook Fan Page (Flamingo Park Neighborhood Association) as well as a website www.flamingopark.org

Like the previous poster said you can get a good feel from the newspaper site.

Living: Accent section, lifestyle, entertainment, fashion, pets | The Palm Beach Post (http://www.palmbeachpost.com/accent/content/home_garden/epaper/2008/09/06/a3h_flamingo_web_0906.html - broken link)

We have a happy hour the last Friday of each month. If you are in the area you are welcome to come by and meet your potential new neighbors. You can find out details from the fan page or website.

Most of the other neighborhoods have websites and Facebook pages too. There are lots of great properties available in all the hoods. Good Luck with your search!
