Default Morgantown

Morgantown has a low crime rate. The average cost of rent for a 3 BR house is $770-$800 a month. There are several retirement communities in the Morgantown area, as well as housing for folks on a fixed income <cost for rent is according to income>.. Marjorie Gardens and Brookview Apartments and Cedar Glenn Townhomes offer this type of housing.

We do get some snow in Morgantown, though the last several winters have been mild. The "main" roads are kept clear & passable, if your in a rural location you may have some problems traveling in the winter. Temperature lows for winter are usually in the 20-30's. Summers are gorgeous here, temp's usually in the 80-90's. Fall is awesome, beautiful array of colors!

Morgantown is a college town. Convenient to shopping/restaurants and entertainment. We have one of the best hospitals in the country WVU/Ruby Memorial if health care is of importance to you. Only an hour from Pittsburgh.

Rated in the top 5 of the best small towns to live in the U.S.

Fishing/hunting abundant in this area,as well as other activites for seniors.

Good luck in your search!
