It is possible to get a ticket in WV for going 10 miles over the limit. It is rare to get one going less than that unless road conditions make it dangerous. A cop might ticket you for going 8 over in a 55 mile zone if the road is winding and there are blind curves, for example. Normally, except for Fayette County, you aren't going to get a ticket for less than 10 over.
