I would stay away from Crosswinds. Only from what I have heard but the Dan Ryan homes in there are terrible. Heard it was the subs that caused the issue but I wouldn't move in there with your money. If you do get a really good inspector and go with him.

Oh and ditto on Shannondale if you don't have 4WD, just don't even think about it.

Sadly we are avoiding the Huntfield, Locust Hill, and Spruce Hill areas due to costs which seem just a tad above of our intended budget. I did not see any listings in the Cloverdale neighborhood so did not even venture there. It seems that a majority of the homes around Charles Town are on short sale status which makes buying a bit more complicated. Hoping some more homes come on the market in the spring.
