Minards in Clarksburg has a lunch treat that I wanted to share...It's called a salad bowl.
They take a round loaf of Italian bread and hollow out the inside. Fill it with you're favorite salad and top it off with Mozzarella Cheese and slide it back in the oven to melt. (also done NY style with french fries under the cheese) The top slice of the bread loaf is buttered with garlic butter and toasted... Not only does is look so different as a dish, its unique and I'm wondering if this is something original or copied from another eaterie. Anybody else out there ever had something similar? |

Between Wayne and Huntington on rte 52.Triple H drive in has the best slaw dogs ever. Every time I come home I visit at least twice. I keep trying to presuade them to sell the sauce to go like Jim's does. Unsuccessful for at least 20 years. Better than any other dawg in or near Huntington.
