Verizon Wireless 3G in Clarcksburg/Grafton? (Morgantown, Fairmont: fit in, hotel, construction)

Starting to drop calls frequently in Harrison County, is anyone else noticing this issue??? Have called Tech support to file trouble ticket but not getting any resolution.

My Verizon contract just ended, and I'm torn between staying with Verizon
-good reception,
-no 3G, but possilbe 4G in the next year or two
-grandfathered into unlimited data
-I know I get great reception all over the country)

or go to U.S. Cellular
-good reception
-3G
-tiered data
-no experience with them


Cost would be a wash since I get a corp discount with Verizon

Have you been noticing issues with your service on the voice side this year???? I have low signal and dropped calls in areas where my service was golden prior to the begining of 2011??? Primarily in the Clarksburg/Stonewood areas!!!

My service has been pretty consistent, there are some spots on 79 between Fairmont and Morgantown where I will drop a call, but its always been like that.

Was supposed to launch in October and was on vzw's 4G site under the coming soon section but has since been removed!! VZW has neglected WV for so long it would be awesome if they would launch all 10 WV markets at once.

So did you switch providers or stay with VZW??? If you switched is your service any better???

I'm still with Verizon. There is a phone coming out at the end of this week that I think I am going to get... and lock in another 2 year contract I guess. My wife wants an iphone, and wants no part of AT&T. Over all voice service has been solid with verizon.

Looks like its just outside of Martinsburg with the December 15th 4G launch in Hagerstown MD.
