I'll haven't seen any sporadic LTE on my Galaxy Nexus yet, will look out for it this evening in Morgantown.

Any signs of 4G yet & are you still in 1X extended or 1X VZW. The map shows VZW 1XRTT???

None yet, still 1X and I haven't checked for a week or so, but its still on extended network. I was really hoping they would have had everything up and running for the Marshall game.

Try toggling airplane mode on then off. That'll consistently get me a minute or so of "roaming" LTE (or 3G, depending on how far away from downtown I am). This is even more frustrating than having nothing at all: the antenna arrays seem to be in place and working, VZW just isn't activating the service for whatever reason.

AT&T just opened their 4G service in Morgantown. I'd be surprised if Verizon doesn't get their act together soon.

I tried that yesterday and got nothing, and I am pretty close to where they put the towers at downtown.

They were testing the tower this morning I got a Verizon signal for bout 20 minutes up at the Law school, it never identified it was 3G or 4G but did come on with 4 bars. Also it appears the contractor finished splicing fiber outside of the Frontier Building on Fayette street last week. I'm assuming today was Verizon testing that Fiber connection and its equipment.

You may be picking up VZW signal because there are COW's ( Cellular on Wheels ) that are installed just for gameday near the Law School, but are removed after the football game. Also US Cellular is launching 4G LTE in Morgantown, Preston County, Fairmont, Clarksburg, and Bridgeport in late October. Could also be a reason why some folks are seeing 4G LTE after midnight!!

The signal I received the other day was not the COW that is on Law School Hill. The COW has been there for several years now and is actually on site for the entire season but powered up and down only during the games (It also has not assisted in getting a reliable signal inside the stadium on game days) The COW is actually US Cellulars not Verizon's. I've been on Law School Hill everyday for the last 3 years and have never received a Verizon Signal until that day. Im pretty sure it was Verizon testing/tuning the tower, it was restarted about 5 or 6 times in the 20 minutes and then finally it was shut off.. Hopefully that means we will go live soon...
