South Elkins is nice, like something along Scott Ford Road, or South Davis Avenue, any of the streets that feed off those are nice. There are many older victorian homes in Elkins too, like near the campus of D&E college, Weese Street area. There are a few subdivisions you may like, Bridgewater, Edgewater Estates. Edgewater is kind of like little villas, smaller in size but modern, luxurious. I think in the 140 -160,000 area, maybe less. But like I said many of those very nice older homes in Elkins sell for like 100,000 tops!. Which I don't understand because they're very nice and walking distance to downtown and everything. But people want to live away from the downtown I guess. Also if you want to be away from downtown. Check out Kelly Mountain road. Its beautiful!!!! Homes there have an amazing view and its only about a 10 minute drive to Elkins if that. The Steelers are a football team from Pittsburgh. ha ha

Thanks for the good info yes the older property sounds very good tryed to get some real estates of the net in elkins bit like hens teeth plenty in the towns around we dont mind a 20/30 min drive into town if you can recomend a nice area pref. not subdivision old home /farm with a little land is whats on the cards. I see Big Al must have a thing for us jonny foriegner especialy them Welshes sounds like he knows a thing or two about sheep ba ba ba
And yes the red coats are comming we sent Beckham to check the place out first well Ga H on keep in touch next time tell us more about you and your folks if you like TTFN

Ha Ha.. I love Beckham and Posh.. ha ha... I'm not sure what you mean by kicky or footy team. Its like the traditional NFL football in America. Its like like the football in Europe. Well like I said if you want out of town/non subdivision life. You could look at the Kelly Mtn area, Bowden area, Dailey or East Dailey, I would also say the Monstrose area north of Elkins. Very nice homes out that way, with lots of land!!! If you need help finding a good realtor let me know. You should come and visit, and look the Montrose and Kelly Mountain areas. Those are the two I think you will like the most. Kelly Mountain has wonderful mountain views.

The Elkins area is quite beautiful as is the Beckley area. The eastern part of the state is the most mountainous but the most scenic. You will also be a few short hours away from Washington D.C.
