Default Home insurance

All I kept hearing was that WV was high for home insurance, I just got off the phone with the agent to get my home insurance policy written and was shocked that it is $300.00 less than what I was paying in MD and the policy is for more. Now I will have to wait to see what the car insurance will be.

Do research and always get car and home insurance at the same company. I'd recommend u to avoid Geico because Geico home and Geico Auto is not connected and do not have discounts. GEICo quote was the worst I could get. I got TWICE less expensive coverage with ALLSTATE plus several hundreds off when I insured my car with them too. Other quotes were comparable.

I have always used State Farm and whenever I would check rates with other companies, State Farm was always the cheapest. Besides, I am always leary of switching, afraid that, that is when something would happen.

I have Erie Insurance for both home and autos. Honestly, I think the homeowners insurance is very affordable. The car insurance was less than any other company we've ever compared with and the one time we had to make a claim (glass breakage) there was no problem at all.
