Anyone have Essential Tremor? A movement disability that makes your hand or head tremor some ? Any problems getting your drivers liscence? Need a doctors statement?

Down here some call it Delirium Tremors.
Its caused by using alcohol as early as 8 years of age...(recent Wood County elementary school study). Not in the press anywhere, we can't solve a problem if we ignore the problem. The best attitude is to deny that a problem exists...what's killing a few trillion brain cells anyway?

To answer your question. If its a serious issue, you will be asked to check the box on the license application. If you are driving with a doctors consent at the present time in your home state and they have criteria for that condition...then it will be reviewed here too.

More than medical problems DUI will really be a factor and felony convictions if you have any priors. West Virginia is becoming a top security area for the country and more than medical problems, security issues are the concern.

Unfortunately ET is very similar to Parkinson's disease. Except no shuffling and few other symptoms. Over 10 million people have this movement disorder . I have driven for 38 years, no accidents, and one speeding ticket when I was in my early 20's. I quess I will just have the doctor do a statement, just in case, even though I don't need or have one now. Better to be safe than sorry they say..
