Without a doubt, the most disappointing part of living in that town. Filled with thousands of Italians...not one of them could make a pizza worth writing home about.
But at least you can get a Rocket Biscuit.

Also, Huntington was shown by number of events to have more to do in a debate in another thread. That's what that comment was about. And there aren't more people from Huntington on this forum. I'm pretty much the only regular one with another poster or few chiming in from time to time. I'll just apply your (obviously flawed) logic and claim that since you are hating on Huntington so much, it must be because you know it is better.

Yeah, ive heard of Huntington's joke nursing schools. For every nurse Huntington makes Morgantown makes 10, and the ones in Morgantown are actually competent. I also imagine the nurses in Huntington flee that area as soon as possible, while Morgantown is actually a nice enough place for them to live there.

Housing costs way more than it should if they had something resembling city planning.
If'n you were wondering, OP...if you just go 20 minutes out of town, its rather reasonable. If I were stuck in Morgantown and needed to buy a home, I'd be looking at Bruceton Mills or maybe Waynesburg. Now that the MFE is open, thuggish, ruggish Uniontown with great home affordability becomes an option, too. They have almost Detroit-level economic depression in that area.

Morgantown definitely needs an overpass into town. Unfortunately developing infrastructure is not a priority for Charleston. That money is better spend building terrible culture zones and roads to nowhere in Southern WV.

I love how this thread was about LPN jobs in Huntington and a couple of you have totally driven the original poster out of the thread! Way to go!
The truth is that Huntington has its good and bad, like Charleston, and Morgantown! Cabell Huntington Hospital and St Marys are both great places to get healthcare! I'd say that Cabell is one of the better ones in the upper Ohio Valley. I wouldn't know about employement there because I've never worked in a hospital. I'd say it couldn't be too bad because they keep employing people!

All I said was that Huntington is a dump. One or 2 sentences. You then also took this thread off topic by attacking Morgantown. It takes two to tango. So dont throw rocks in a glass house.
Also the hospital keeps employing people because nobody wants to work there so they leave ASAP.

The hospital is growing, you make statements that you can't support while I live near by and know first hand!

Of course you said so it must be true.
It is doing ok, because Charleston is willing to subsidize it, or it would go under. Morgantown's hospital can stand on its own.

Morgantowns hospital is run by the state! It wouldn't stand a second without WVU and the state government! Cabell Huntington is not! It is a private sector company with ties to Marshall, unlike Ruby!
Winner in terms of private enterprise Huntington! Not Morgantown!

Still not a better hospital than Morgantown. Also underfunded by Charleston. The best doctors in WV are attracted to Morgantown for quality of life. Big surprise there.

What in the HE&& are you talking about. They have 224 beds there, no matter how many are occupied at any given moment. What in the world is your beef?
