Sorry guys. I turned down a job in Charleston. I just wasn't going to be happy doing that kind of work.

Instead, I took a job in.... Alaska!

Well, that was also a major factor in turning down the job. Of all the places I could've been in WV; Charleston? Ugh.

I know. That city is a toilet. Morgantown is ok, but id rather live in North Korea than Charleston.

I'm originally from Michigan. And southern Illinois is more like Randolph county than it is Charleston.

You dont have to justify anything. Im sure southern IL is much nicer than Charleston.

I have no emotional attachment to Southern Illinois. It's just a place I moved for a job. But it's very pretty. It's like WV lite. You know, everywhere but Charleston.
