With the Ices ferry bridge closed a lot of Cheat Lake traffic is being re-routed down this stretch of highway. It is a cash for the cops. It is a brilliant speed trap, but really pissing off the people from Cheat Lake.

This thread is the only mention I can find of a speedtrap at Cheat Lake. Evidence? Links?

I drivr through the area every other day. I've seen many cars getting pulled over. You don't want to believe it you are doing so at your own risk. I would recommend you do the speed limit, Especially during rush hours. Or just completely ignore this warning and speed through that area. Up to you.
