There's not too much in Kermit so your son would likely have to drive to Huntington or Charleston for work. Kermit is a very small town in the coal fields so other than being a miner, work there is limited.

Some FYI......if he has his cdl license then:: there are quite a few co..that he can run with and live anywhere in WV...now if he wants local most of them u have to be within 50miles of the place of hire......things to consider if will he be paid hourly (depending on years of experience the highest "i" have came across here has been $15.00 an hr..then it goes down) or by the mile or by the load............and quite a few jobs u can have a cdl 'B' but again remember the population count...then u have your LARGE co..out of state that hire within WV..thought this mite help......(a proud trucker's wife) Tee
