Default number of pets allowed per household

Is there a limit on the number of pets allowed per household in ohio county? We have a dog and six cats and are wondering if we should worry. They're all indoor pets, spayed and neutered.

Send a message via MSN to Katie1
Contact the animal control there, they will know the answer for that area.

I could be wrong, but I've never heard of a cat limit in households anywhere at all. Some areas have 2-3 DOGS limits, though. Regardless, like Katie1 said, try animal control for the answer.

I was born and raised here in West Virginia. Yes there is limit to how many pets you can have but it is up to the person or persons that own the property to a point. The county that I live in does not allow you to have more than 4 cats or dogs in one house. They say that it isnt healthy, but I disagree as long as the owner of the pets take care of them and keep the house clean. You need to check with the animal control people in the area that you plan to move to see what their laws and regulations are.
