The History Channel will premiere a 3 night mini-series on the Hatfield-McCoy Feud beginning at 9pm on Memorial Day, May 28. The production stars Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton.

I wouldn't exactly call it a "Western", since it takes place along the West Virginia - Kentucky border.

I guess that's not far from western Virginia, though.

The Hatfield-McCoy Miniseries will air on the History Channel on three consecutive nights next week (Monday-Wednesday), 9-11pm each night.

I thought the first episode was pretty good. You could tell almost from the beginning though that it wasn't shot in West Virginia. For some reason, they shot the thing in Romania and Transylvania! I can hear it now: Almost heaven, Transylvania....
