I'd say the hospitals(Cabell and St. Mary's) would be the best places to work in terms of pay and benefits. If you are looking for something a little smaller, of course there are the smaller stores like Rite Aid, CVS, Fruth, Budget Pharmacy and a few other local places. There are also some other smaller area hospitals that you could look into as well like River Park and the State Hospital. The neatest drug store would definately be Griffith and Feil's Drug store in Kenova. It's been there since the late 1800's and still has a soda fountain and serves sandwiches. Kind of like in "It's a Wonderful Life". Here's a link with pictures.

I'll also link to the hospitals for you. Hope this helps.

I got an offer from the hospital across the river in Ashland, KY not too long ago for $105k + bonus...you might want to try them. There is a pretty decent shortage in Huntington because there isn't a school within 300 miles. From what I've seen, you might get a little more in retail than in hospital.
