For 1 US 340 also passes briefly through West Virginia. In Virginia and West Virginia, it is signed north–south. So No Clue what you are talking about 340 East? 2 Your link does not work!

1 - 340 to the east in Jefferson County. So Harpers Ferry / Charles Town area.
