MarcoPoloLoco has been on the market for just a few months and was created to be a time, space messaging application.
"It lets a user send a message to a time window in the present, future, or the past," said MarcoPoloLoco CEO Joe Roets.
Roets said the biggest difference between MarcoPoloLoco and other social media applications is that a 'Marco', or message, can be sent to locations rather then people.
Whoever is in the area can respond with a 'Polo' and the current locations of the users will not be revealed.
"What MarcoPoloLoco does is it hides where you're at," said Project Director Alexi Leontopoulos. "It's an application that's more concerned with where you're interested in rather then where you are right now."
