Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin marked his approval of the Feed to Achieve Act with a Wednesday ceremony at Berkeley Heights Elementary

I remember in my school lunch was free. I was surprised when I learned in other states students had to pay for their meals. Every school should have free lunches.

How about making the parents responsible for taking care of their own children. Or would that be too much to ask.

Yeah, it is so terrible that kids at public schools get lunches. That is communism for you. Kids get to eat, the horror.

I was on free lunch as well, no child should have to sit and watch other children eat while they go hungry. We had it rough growing up in our early years due to my dad losing his job in the mines, they're we're so many people who lost their jobs that no jobs were available. Our tax dollars fund our public school system, I don't mind some of that money paying for free meals for kids. A fed child can concentrate on classwork instead of focusing on something to eat. Anything that can help our children get on par with the rest of the U.S. academically I'm for.

Apparently if your parents cant feed you enough you should starve.

We live in the 21st century people.
