Competition is always a good thing.

The food at Sheetz is good for the most part, at least what I usually get, and the majority of their locations in WV are clean. That is a many steps above most of the gas stations in the State.

Here in Putnam county, their is a location in Hurricane, exit 34, one at Crooked Creek, exit 40, and they just opened another one on Teays Valley road, in between the other 2 locations. So in the span of 6 miles there are 3 Sheetz locations. This new location has done nothing but create more traffic issues for the Teays Valley Road area. Whoever approved this Sheetz location, both on the Sheetz corporate level and the local city council, needs to lose their job.

The article says that the KV is a major area they want to build in, the problem is that all of the good land is already being used.

They are rapidly expanding everywhere. One wonders where they are getting the money. They are proposing a new mega Sheetz on University Ave. in Morgantown.
