Millersangel:
I'm taking this photo to the crime lab in the morning...that 'snow' looks a lot like Ivory Snow laundry soap and the supposedly 'Wooley Bear' (according to a third party source) looks like a small rusty commode brush with black paint touch-up....
its been a good joke and I acquiese...you won this bet...have a great weekend. We had snow too....and you should take up photography...lot of talent getting the story out of the pic.

Last year I hid the lights in the gas grill and guess who decided to do some steaks...?
It's to early to rush the big one...lets enjoy turkeyday first...The EER'S and the National Championship will come soon enough and then you can put the lights up..."Hail, to thee our alma mater....

I know you folks will want to feel sorry for us here in Las Vegas, but it's going to drop from the high 70s to the high 60s next week. Brrrr.

I froze to death in Vegas one September, the weather was cold in the sixty's and the hotel staff wanted to close down the swimming pool...rainy...We were over from Hawaii and leaving that 80* weather for that cold spell in Nevada...we got away from it by going down to LA where the Santa Anna winds warmed us a little. Been wanting to try out the Venetian...friends say its fabulous...
Spring here in the 'wild and wonderful' is just around the corner...124 days away...3rd week of February.

I found those snow shovels...hiding behind the graden tiller and the plastic one was cracked...there's snow on the horizion for tomorrow night and I hope it doesn't clobber us like it did in 1950....I was just a little guy that winter and the snow was up to the window sills on our new house. My grandmother was helping with the November hog butchering and was marooned with us for three days...Grandpa had one horse left on the farm, 'Old Bob' and rode him the five miles to retrieve her...Grandma was 60 yrs old that November and that was her last horseback ride. I wonder what they talked about as they silently made their way home. 'Old Bob' did what the cars couldn't do that day...

Snows over...even in the Highlands...buds are out and the grass is greener...time for picture taking...lambing and new calves and horses romping...anything new in the cameras memory, Karen?
