My husband recently started a job in Nitro that is expected to last a few years. He is an electrician and is currently staying in a hotel in St.Albans. Our lease in Charlotte runs out the end of December. We have a medium size dog and it appears difficult to rent apts with a larger pet so we need help in finding a place. We would prefer a house or mobile home w/land with option to buy. My husband likes the country and I lean more toward the suburbs but neither of us really wants to commute more than 30 minutes to work. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

Check out a little town outside of Charleston named Sissonsville. Lot of nice folks in that little town.

Sissonville is great! Alum Creek, Elenor(spelling) are also worthy of looking at as well. Regaring and option to buy, you may be able to find a good deal as long as you have a substantial down payment. Not too many owners want to take that risk without one.

Good Luck!

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I'll let my husb know. When we've moved b-4 I usually started out w/temp to hire positions. Do these areas have Temporary Services?
