Hi. We are looking to buy some land in Kenova along route 75.

We are concerned about Radon in the ground. Is Radon prevalent in Kenova?

Thanks

Upon viewing the EPA's Radon website, the area appears to be okay. It's average compared to the rest of the country. Coming from experience, I have never ever heard of any Radon incidences in the area.

Yeah, you should be fine. Here's the WV-specific site with maps: Radiation, Toxics & Indoor Air Division

Kenova doesn't appear to have an issue. Here are a couple of Radon maps for WV. It seems to get worse the farther north and east that you go.
