Stores in Ranson and Charles Town

Check out main street. There are a couple of antique stores and one store that sells retro items and restored vintage coin op machines such as Jukeboxes, Coke, popcorn and candy machines not to mention the custom built furniture.....they have a website and have customers all over the world! Bars and Booths or something like that

I heard a rumor that Starbucks is out at The Boulevard (Phase II of Potomac Marketplace) citing difficult economic times.

They are building a 3 or 4 store building next to Rite-Aid now. I spoke to one of the Rite-Aid employees and he said a Five Guys is going into one of the spaces. I don't know what else. Usually when a Five Guys is built, a Cold Stone Creamery is not far behind though.

Chick-Fil-A is opening this week, I think I saw from the banner.

I haven't heard anything about stores that are slated to open there, but if I do I will let you all know.

The project that I am following is The Commons in Martinsburg, located off of exit 12. It will open this July and will include Target, PetSmart, Books-A-Million, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, TJ Maxx, Michael's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Best Buy. I too heard about the movie theatre coming to the Ranson area. I opened and read both links posted by mtneeratheart. Well, this is Memorial Day, but in the year 2009 [not 2008] and still no theatre. No Starbuck's either. So, is these projects on hold ? Never let it be said that WVDOT moves at lightening speed. There had been talk about putting in a bike path and bypass for RT9 when we first moved to this area and now we can see some of it but it's still not completed and who's to say when that will be finished. Maybe it'll take another 5 years?

Construction at Potomac Marketplace has been slow, at best.

The last business completed was Chick-Fil-A, however, there is a new strip of storefronts almost completed next to Rite-Aid.

Rumor has it that a Five Guys is going in there (I don't know what else). Could be Starbucks, but I've also heard rumors that the Ranson Starbucks is being scrapped because of the economy.
