penicuik is on a distinguished road
Default Pennsboro plumbing & motor company
My grandparents emigrated to the US from Penicuik in Scotland in 1919 and gave their US address as c/o JW Pennycook, proprietor of the above company.
John Pennycook was my grandfather's half brother.
I'd appreciate any information about the company

Thanks Colin maybe one of the Pennycooks in WV will read this and may even be related to those Pennycooks from Penicuik who emigrated at the turn of the century. The Mauricewood Pit Disaster connection is really interesting for any American interested in their ancestry.
