Fun things to do in Fairmont, WV?
My family is considering a vacation stop in Fairmont in June. What activities are there as we would have a combined count of 5 children under age 6.
Thanks!

Prickett's Fort State Park is a reconstruction of a frontier fort, circa 1750. Artifacts, demonstrations, reenactors.
The only thing I'm not sure of is whether the kids, being under 6, would enjoy it.

Wave-Tek pool is fun, Valley Falls State Park is a beautiful site for a picnic or a hike, and Valley Worlds of Fun is a fun, kid friendly place. It has lots of rides outside, bowling and arcade games inside and some rides inside. In Morgantown, you can hike and picnic at Coopers Rock State Park. Hope this helps.

1 mile from the Pleasant Valley exit on I-79 is Valley's World of Fun...great place to take the crumb snatchers ..has every kid toy in the world..even a rock wall... Denny Sestito is the chef at its resturant...incredible food at a modest price...Several chain motels are closeby and a great place to R & R...

Have a hot fresh pepperoni roll and a beer at Colessano's. (And, no, this isn't a commerical - I live 3 hours away.)
