we are planning on moving in over a year and was wondering how the employment and schools are in elkins,

The schools are great in Elkins. I lived there for 23 years. The jobs are good, however it depends on the kind of work that you want. Good luck

Elkins is very very small. If that is what you are looking for. Also, not much near Elkins plan on a drive to get to civilization...

Elkins
I'm not sure about the schools in Elkins or how much employment there is. My DH and I spend a total of a few weeks each year camping and hanging out around Elkins. They have a Walmart, Krogers, and a good bit of other areas to shop. The area is absolutely breath taking with the mountains! We plan to retire there someday
