Default West Virginia Disability Act?

Can anybody tell me if there is a West Virginia Disability Act for disabled persons on Social Security/Disability? Let me explain what I am talking about here. I am disabled and am on SSI Disability and earn a whopping $710 a month. Now, here in Texas... we have what is called the Texas Disability Act that helps folks like me pay for their Medicare & Medicare RX programs because I am considered low income therefore, the $98 that SSA takes out of your check each month for Medicare is paid by the state for me as well as the Medicare RX Program of $27.50 per month. So, I still get my $710 per month rather than the $710 less the $98 & $27.50 for the above mentioned. Did I explain well enough? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch, LSR

1st your SSI here is based on NEED....so your check will be less! $5-600 is ours. I know a lady in my building [rent based on income] gets $200 a month!

OK, my mistake. My brother says I am not on SSI, I am on Social Security Disability which is different then SSI. He claims SSI is a state program and I am on a federal thing. Sorry.

Thanks for the information, LSR

Well, I have never applied for SSI so... I wouldn't have a clue there? I guess I will need to check it out when I get there. Thanks for the input.
