Super Bowl Predictions?
Who do you want to win? Why?
Who do you think will win? Why?
Care to predict the score?
Personally, I hope the Giants win, to put an end to all the talk that the Patriots might be better than the Steelers of the 70s.
Realistically, unless they have a major meltdown, I see the game as being 27-20, Patriots.

I WANT the Giants to win, but I really don't see it even being a realistic possibility. Eli Manning is on fire, but the amount of turnovers he had during the season wasn't an abberation - this guy is NOT a superstar QB, much in the same way Tony Romo isn't. Also, the Giants secondary is banged up and I don't see them being able to stop Patriots potent passing attack AND rush them enough, which is basically the same problem all the teams with similar defenses (Steelers,Jaguars, ect.) have had. The only way I see the G-men hanging in there is if guys like Kevin Boss, Ahmaad Bradshaw and Justin Tuck absolutley dominate for 60 minutes.
I'm picking 48-24 Patriots with Tom Brady getting the MVP.
And it's really impossible for people to consider the Patriots the greatest team ever since most of the teams they are compared against were in such different generations, which frustrates me. The last team that someone could really compare them to is the 1999 Rams, although personally I like to think that no one could be the late 70's Steelers in their prime, haha.

I think the Giants will win, by 3 points. I'm going to do out on a limb and predict...... 17-14 Giants. I think I'm clairvoyant.

Don't bet the house on it, reb. Hinton has a perfect prediction record for the Super Bowl 42.

haha I feel stoooooopeed.
Worst first 45 minutes of a super bowl I've ever seen led to the best 4th quarter in any NFL game ever. I'm still not over it.

Gotta admit, I don't really follw sports too closely. My oldest boy is really into it though, so by proxy, I guess I am too. He's a big NE fan, has been for years. While he was bummed that they didn't win, he too agreed: It was one heck of a good game.

I just have a bad feeling that New England is not going to pull this off!
